Elevation: ClimaCool™ Elevating their eyewear to a whole new playing field, Adidas sport eyewear has created Elevation Climacool™ - the ultimate in convertible eyewear protection. The latest result of adidas eyewear’s commitment to deliver the most superior functional eyewear available to athletes is this new frame for adventure sports. By integrating the principles of adidas’ Climacool ventilation system into sports eyewear the brand has created an eyewear solution that will meet the demands of the most adventurous athlete in the most extreme conditions. Superior ventilation plays a huge role in ensuring optimum vision in high octane, high altitude situation where conditions can change dramatically in seconds – from extreme glare to thick fog. Combine the ventilation system with adidas eyewear’s additional unique patented specifications like the NASA approved Space Lens, Tri.Fit arm function, Double Snap Nose Bridge and Quick Release Hinge and you have an adaptable piece of kit that delivers performance where its needed most. Climacool™ is a multi layered ventilation system. A full foam face pad with carefully engineered vents (which doubles up as a sweat blocker) fits behind the lenses, and this works in conjunction with side vents where the lens joins the frame. They work together to draw airflow over the lenses to keep them moisture free without disturbing the eye. So that’s the frame – what about the lenses? Optical quality is unquestionable with adidas’ Vision Advantage™ PC polycarbonate lenses that are durable and impact resistant. The ultra-curvature of the lenses (10 base) along with the extreme wrap around design of the frame provide an optimum field of vision. These features also ensure optimum protection from glare and particles in the air. To adapt the frame to changes in conditions make use of the Interchangeable lens system which enables you to quickly snap in a different lens tint in response to variable light. The Elevation ClimaCool™ comes with a second set of 100% UV protective lenses. The Space Lens™ developed for NASA and interpreted by adidas eyewear has a high shielding factor protection level 4 and designed especially for extreme light conditions, (available in 1 out of the 5 models). Light transmission is a mere 5.5% of the visible light. They’ve also been enhanced in order to provide an improved contrast of light picking up any fine details in terrain surfaces. For a perfect fit Tailor the frame to fit your face with adidas eyewear’s patented TRI.FIT™ system which allows a 3-stage height adjustment of the arms for perfect positioning in accommodating every head shape. Then click the Double Snap Nose-Bridge™ (2 stage height adjustment) into place. And Traction Grip™ on the ends of the arms complete a secure and comfortable fit. Wear two ways The Elevation Climacool comes with an adjustable head strap which snaps in and can take the place of the arms when using the full foam face pad to offer extra security. Made from super durable lightweight SPX™, the frame is enhanced with the Quick Release Hinge™ system that means the arms don’t snap off when pressure is exerted. As a result damage to the entire frame is avoided. The Elevation ClimaCool™ comes with 2 sets of lenses, ClimaCool™ pad, temples and head band, eyewear bag (ideal for lens cleaning) and protective hard-case. A performance insert is available for those in need of optical correction. |

| On January 3rd this year Sunglass Plus closed its Taunton store to concentrate on its online business. Over the next few months we will start to concentrate on the sports side of the sunglass market, with brand leaders such as Oakley, Adidas and Rudy Project. So whatever your into, whether it be Triathlon, Cycling or water sports for example you should be able to find something that will suit the purpose. If you don't find what your looking for just give us a call/mail and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
